CAN LASH EXTENSIONS HARM NATURAL LASHES?

When applied properly, lash extensions will not harm natural lashes. The NovaLash application technique allows natural lashes to grow and thrive with extensions. This technique requires several different “separation” steps during the application process so each extension adheres to a single natural lash in order to prevent interruption of the lash growth cycle.

 

HOW LONG DO THEY REALLY LAST?

When properly applied,  lash extensions can be worn throughout the year. Touch-ups are recommended after the initial full set to refill any lashes that have cycled out. To maintain the full, thick appearance of a new set of lashes a visit to your lash professional is recommended every 3 weeks based on your own natural lash growth cycle. 

 

CAN I WEAR EYELINER WITH EXTENSIONS?
Eyeliner is applied to the eyelid skin at the base of the lashline, and so doesn't interfere with lash extensions at all. However, caution should be used when removing the eyeliner to ensure the eye makeup remover doesn't touch the adhesive used to affix the lashes and dissolve it.

 

CAN I WEAR MASCARA WITH EXTENSIONS?

It should not be necessary to wear mascara, the added weight of mascara can damage the bond and put stress on your lashes,  we do not recommend mascara.  If you want to wear mascara to create more volume, talk with your lash tech, they can adjust your lashes to create the look you want.

 

ONCE APPLIED, WHAT IS THE PROPER WAY TO CARE FOR LASHES?

 For best results wash your lashes every morning and evening with a lash Foaming Cleanser, or after a workout. This will remove any excess oil on and around your lashes. Brush your lashes daily with your spoolie, but NEVER brush them when they are wet! Avoiding oil-based or waterproof cosmetics and creams on and around your eyes will help with retention and keep them fresh!
