Is your permanent cosmetics provider licensed, certified, and insured? Your face and health are at risk for infections and transmission of bloodborne pathogens when undergoing any permanent cosmetics or treatments. That's why permanent cosmetic professionals must follow the most stringent health and safety regulations, they must be licensed and in compliance with the Texas Department of State Health Services. Make sure the cosmetic professional you choose holds a license and has certificates of training in the procedure you are interested in, including bloodborne pathogens certification.
