What is Freckle Tattooing?

Your permanent makeup artist inserts pigment in your cheeks and nose, to give you the perfect freckly look. The number and location of these cute brown spots on your face are completely up to you, so if you want to have them on your forehead and/or chin, why not?

Now finally, you don’t need to wait for summer and expose yourself to hours and hours of harming sunlight in order to have those freckles, and the best thing is – you can have them all year round.

How is Freckle Tattooing Done?

 When you come to your appointment, the artist will map out your face with a desired number of freckles in the places you want, using a simple eyeliner pencil. Once you agree that this is the look you imagined, the procedure starts.

Using a tattoo needle each freckle is created manually, which allows the formation of irregular shapes and colors, resembling natural-looking spots.

​

Unlike body tattooing which uses ink, your artist uses permanent makeup ink so your freckles won’t be permanent but will fade in time, lasting for up to three years, depending on your skin and your lifestyle.

The faux freckles should be scattered around your cheeks and nose and placed asymmetrically so that they look as natural as possible.
